Hello there! You've found my pretty little tribute to Walter Bernhard, the official (but not actual) major antagonist of Castlevania: Lament of Innocence.

why walter?

I'm a storyteller, and I'm thrilled that Lament was created to explain the origin of the series I love so much. This instant liking of Lament easily extended to its characters, especially Joachim, Walter, Mathias, and Leon.

I was thinking of making a Joachim shrine back in the day, but there's so many beautiful ones now. Poor Walter seems to have been almost completely ignored; I've noticed that a lot of Joachim fans don't like Walter, while I love both characters. I used to own the Walter fanlisting but lost interest in the whole FL mess, and I never added any real content to that site. It's finally time for an in-depth shrine!

Or rather, there were a lot of beautiful Joachim shrines about five years ago. Now they're all gone. Hmm...
